Kuala Koh National Park

The Kuala Koh National Park is located in the Territory of Gua Musang, Kelantan, near borderlines Pahang and Terengganu. It is located within the Reserves forest of Bukit Hantu and Lebir.

Its just 96 kilometers away from Gua Musang town, and easily accessible via the Gua Musang-Kuala Krai road. Its biggest attraction is the diversity of flora and fauna as well as its textbook tropical rainforest ecosystem, makes it the perfect ecotourism destination, apart from being part of important R&D work.

For birdwatchers, there are over 300 species to spot, while anglers can try their luck in the rivers that run through the national park. It's also paradise for camera bugs, kayak enthusiasts, and campers. You'll find all the facilities and services you will required here.

From 2000 until 2006, only 25,477 people visited Kuala Koh National Park, of which 97.8% were local tourists. Among the main obstacles faced is a lack of public transport to get to the national park, as well as poor promotional efforts.
